The Blues talk this week is all about the amazing blues jam of last Sunday, Blues For Ukraine at Henry’s Blueshouse at Velvet Music Rooms where some 25 of the region’s finest blues musicians and singers delivered the most exciting blues performance seen in this city in years to a capacity audience of 200.

Blues For Ukraine raised a total of £3825 and all of which, without any deductions, will go to The Disaster Emergency Committee Ukraine Appeal.
So it’s very special thanks to Steve, Dani and all of the Velvet Music Rooms staff, all of the musicians involved: The Martin Burch Band, The Shakedown Brothers, The Nitecrawlers, Ricky Cool, Darren Mather, Chickenbone John, Chris Bowden, Mick Hopkins, John Price, Roy Forbes and Mickey Barker, Studio 57 film crew, Karl Newton photography, Fair Deal Music and every one of you who came along and supported this event so generously.
